The Lithuanian-American Community of Washington State (LACWA) promotes and coordinates Lithuanian cultural, educational, religious, and social activities within the State of  Washington. By doing so, LACWA promotes ties among people of Lithuanian descent and friends of Lithuania and maintains the culture, customs, language, and history of Lithuania in Washington State.

The LACWA cooperates with and supports Lithuanian organizations, institutions, and offices. 

​

The LACWA disseminates information and works with non-Lithuanian organizations regarding Lithuania. It represents Lithuanian-American concerns in the State of Washington by educating the public by maintaining media ties and utilizing the internet, public speaking, and  presentation opportunities. It also shares information regarding Lithuanian American concerns with congressional offices and other  governmental and non-governmental organizations.
